Energy towers proposed for Mexico, San Luis

A Maryland company that wants to build a wind tower more than 2,000 feet tall in San Luis, Ariz., to create electricity is now proposing a similar project across the border. Mexican wind project at risk due to protests

A 396 MW wind power project under development by Mareña Renovables in the Mexican state of Oaxaca could be at risk due to protests by the Huave indigenous community.
