[Andalucía Council President Manuel Chaves has maintained a commitment today that “there will be no offshore wind energy parks in the Trafalgar area while there is no institutional and civic consensus.”]

[The Council President has indicated that it is true that the Ministry of Industry has set aside the area as possible for the exploitation of wind energy, but has pointed out that the Regional Administration has argued in opposition to “shield the area”.]

[Chaves has already recalled that when part of the citizenry demonstrated their unease over the possible location of the park in the Trafalgar area, he said it would not take place without consensus and today has now returned to ratify that.]
