La Fundación Germán Estévez pide límites para las eólicas [Germán Estévez Foundation calls for limits on wind turbines] 

La Fundación ecologista Germán Estévez ha reclamado a la Xunta que establezca un marco legal para la instalación de los nuevos parques eólicos y que se delimiten las zonas donde los aerogeneradores causen un menor daño ambiental.

En un comunicado, la asociación ecologista defiende que también los ayuntamientos participen para establecer un protocolo de actuación ante la instalación de 6.000 molinos y así “salvar los montes y las sierras gallegas”.

[In a communiqué, the environmental organization also argues that communities should participate to establish a protocol for action before the installation of 6,000 windmills to “save the mountains and ridges of Galicia”.]

En ese sentido, criticaron que se puedan instalar parques eólicos en enclaves como la Serra de Pena Trevinca, Serra de San Mamede, los Cañones do Sil, la Serra do Barbanza, la Serra do Xurés o en los montes de O Courel.

“Es algo totalmente contradictorio y de gran daño a los valores y recursos naturales que, en definitiva, son patrimonio de todos los ciudadanos”, advirtieron, para reiterar finalmente su deseo de que se establezcan zonas prioritarias para aprovechar la fuerza del viento, informa Europa Press.

[It is somthing totally contradictory and of great damage to the values and natural resources that, ultimately, are the heritage of all citizens”, they cautioned, to finally reiterate the desire to establish priority zones for harnessing the power of the wind, they told Europa Press.]
