Rain may be removed from the forecast – wind turbines interfere with the radar

The wind turbines in Markbygden outside Piteå are disrupting the weather radar in Luleå so much that the forecasts are incorrect.
“We are forced to remove the rain in the forecasts,” SMHI’s radar expert said.
