In dieser Höhe hat die Feuerwehr keine Chance: Ein Windrad südlich von Röbel ist am Freitagabend in Flammen geraten. Jetzt kann es nur noch abbrennen.
In einem Windpark zwischen den Ortschaften Jaebetz und Freyenstein nahe der Landesgrenze zwischen Mecklenburg-Vorpommern und Brandenburg in der Müritz-Region ist am Freitagabend ein Windrad in Brand geraten.
Das Feuer in luftiger Höhe ließ sich vom Boden aus nicht bekämpfen – die gegen 17.30 Uhr alarmierte Feuerwehr konnte daher nur zusehen, wie das Windrad abbrannte. Sie sicherte den Brandort allerdings weiträumig ab, denn immer wieder fielen brennende Teile zu Boden.
Der Brand des Windrads mit einer Nabenhöhe von etwa 60 Metern dauerte bis tief in die Nacht hinein an.
