The people who fought the plans for a wind farm in Clearview Township are holding a party to celebrate the end of the project.
It’s a BYOB event, and those attending are invited to either fly or drive to the Collingwood Regional Airport, and share their stories about the battle over turbines.
The event is on the 21st of October from 3-6 o’clock.
The eight-turbine wind farm was first proposed in 2010, and a ruling earlier this year by the province’s Environmental Review Tribunal effectively killed it.
