An Economic Impact Study for the Collingwood Regional Airport warns operations would be negatively impacted if eight wind turbines were allowed to be built west of Stayner.
The study also says the project by WPD Canada has the potential to jeopardize any proposed or future investment in the airport and the economy of the region.
The study was commissioned by the Town of Collingwood and Clearview Township.
The report has been sent to the Ministry of Environment, which will decide whether or not to approve the project.
