The anti-wind lobby group, the Waubra Foundation has responded to the Greens Party, following a complaint that being registered as a health promotion charity is misleading.
The party’s health spokesperson, Senator Richard Di Natale, has written to both the Australian Charities and Not for Profits Commissioner and the Australian Tax Office to register his objection.
Being listed as a health promotion charity means donations to the organisation are tax deductible.
