Dode en vermiste bij brand in windmolen

Bij een brand in de nok van een windmolen in het Zuid-Hollandse dorp Ooltgensplaat is dode gevallen. Een ander wordt nog vermist. Vermoedelijk gaat het om twee monteurs die aan het werk waren bij de molen, meldt een politiewoordvoerder.
De brand woedt in de nok in een van de windmolens aan de Mariadijk. Voor zover nu bekend waren vier monteurs aan het werk toen de brand door nog onbekende oorzaak uitbrak. Twee wisten zich in veiligheid te stellen en zijn opgevangen.
De windmolen is heel hoog. Speciaal materieel is vanuit Rotterdam onderweg om bij de nok van de molen te komen.
