RED WING – Goodhue County commissioner Dan Rechtzigel characterized Tuesday’s approval of a wetlands replacement plan for the AWA Goodhue wind project as routine, noting dozens of others have been passed without nary a complaint.
“If it wouldn’t have been the wind applicant, it wouldn’t have been an issue,” he said.
But it only passed by a 3-2 split vote, and citizens are up in arms about the process.
The vote came with some intrigue. Read about it in Wednesday’s print edition.
