After much speculation, Consumers Energy has filed a special land use permit application for a 100 megawatt wind farm in southern Mason County.
The plan was filed at the Mason County Zoning Office at 5 p.m. Friday. The office was closed Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
