HARTFORD – Opponents of wind turbine projects in Prospect and Colebrook picked up support Monday from a highly-placed big wheel.
Outgoing Attorney General Richard Blumenthal called for the adoption of state regulations to govern wind farm developments here.
He said he will also work on national standards in the U.S. Senate. He won election to the Senate in November. He takes office Wednesday.
Blumenthal met Monday with representatives from Save Prospect Corp. and FairWindCT Inc., two community groups that are opposing wind turbine projects in Prospect and Colebrook.
