The Windfarm Action Group is hosting a Public Information Meeting in Port Elgin tonight.
WAG spokesperson Kathy McCarrell says the prospect of Ontario’s countryside becoming covered with hundreds of industrial wind turbines is fraught with public health risks.
McCarrell says tonight’s meeting will include presentations from people living in the Shelburne and Kingsbridge wind farm project areas, as well as an update on the 121 turbine project being proposed in Bruce County.
A Question-And-Answer session will round off the meeting.
That’s 7:00 o’clock tonight at The Plex in Port Elgin.
