La cour d’appel de Nancy rejette définitivement le projet éolien de Wignicourt

[Already rejected by the prefect, the wind project of the municipality of Wignicourt has just been rejected again by the administrative court of appeal of Nancy, notably to protect the wildlife in the area.]
Désillusion pour la société centrale éolienne Claire-Fontaine, représentée par Neoen, et son projet de faire émerger quatre aérogénérateurs à Wignicourt. La demande d’autorisation environnementale remontait à fin 2019 et la préfecture des Ardennes l’a refusée officiellement le 27 avril 2020. Le recours de la société éolienne devant la cour administrative d’appel de Nancy n’y aura rien changé.
Car un jugement de la cour d’appel de Nancy vient de confirmer la validitié de l’arrêt préfectoral, pris en défense de la faune et en particulier de la cigogne noire. « Cela rend d’autant plus incompréhensible l’autorisation accordée pour le parc de Villers-le-Tourneur car c’est le même secteur géographique », remarque Christian Camuzeaux, président de la Coordination des Associations de Vigilance Eolien des Ardennes. Une extension de parc éolien est en effet en projet à proximité du même bois, à Villers-le-Tourneur.
