Crane falls across TR 220 Saturday

A crane installing a wind turbine toppled over at the Scioto Ridge Wind Farm in southern Hardin County.
The incident was reported at just before 8 this past Saturday morning.
The crane toppled over and the boom fell across Township Road 220.
No injuries were reported.
There were strong wind gusts reported in the area at the time.
A Taylor Creek Township trustee told the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office that the road could be closed at least a week.
