Fire crews are currently attending a large-scale gorse fire close to a Speyside wind farm.
Six appliances are in attendance at Paul’s Hill wind farm near Aberlour after receiving a call at about 10:52pm last night.
A helicopter is being granted to help out and waterbomb the fire which crews have worked through the night to get under control.
A fire service spokeswoman said: “There are six pumps and some special units attending including one wildfire unit and a welfare unit.
“Firefighters are using knapsacks, sprayers and beaters and breathing apparatus and PPE for safety reasons.”
