Wind turbines at Barnafaddock ‘not within permission conditions’

After a long battle, residents in the Ballyduff area were pleased to hear An Bord Pleanala state that the wind farm at Barnafaddock was operating illegally as the diameter of the blades which are in use, exceed the diameter agreed in the planning permission.
According to reports, Waterford City and County Council intend to commence enforcement action immediately against Blackrock Assets, the owners of the Barnafaddock wind farm.
