The Missouri Public Service Commission has scheduled a Monday, Jan. 14, local public hearing in a case filed by Ameren Missouri, which seeks to construct a wind generation facility in Atchison County.
A PSC staff public information/question-and-answer session is planned for noon at the University Extension office, located at 201 E. U.S. Highway 136 in Rock Port, Missouri. The commission will take formal testimony from the public after the session.
The utility wants to build and operate an approximately 157-megawatt wind-driven facility between Rock Port and Fairfax, Missouri.
A formal evidentiary hearing on the proposal will be held from Tuesday, Feb. 19, through Friday, Feb. 22, in Room 310 of the Governor Office Building, 200 Madison St., Jefferson City, Missouri.
