I was very pleased with the results of the May 2, 2017, wind vote repudiating the wind turbines in Huron County.
Not one of these turbines should have been erected without a vote of the people of Huron County. Our well-paid politicians that we elected were led by lobbyists. I could say a few words about what I think about these ridiculous, unsightly, ugly, subsidized, vertical pieces of junk, but everyone in the county knows that. Instead, I think it would be appropriate for the voters of Huron County to try getting a motion on the ballot to have the existing turbines removed and have the party’s responsible for getting them here pay for their removal.
