Wind turbine burns in Luzerne County

BEAR CREEK TOWNSHIP – Crews were called out Thursday afternoon after a wind turbine along a ridgetop in Luzerne County apparently caught fire.
It happened around 2 p.m. in the Bear Creek Township area.
Smoke from the fire could be seen for miles.
There is no word on the what caused the wind turbine to catch fire.
