Residents in Doon East, Roscahill are to put together an action plan amid concerns over the Galway Windfarm Development.
Up to 30 locals met with Galway Senator Trevor O’Clochartaigh in the village last evening to discuss the development.
Senator O’Clochartaigh says residents are concerned over the possible health impacts of the windfarm from potential dust, noise and air pollution.
Residents have also cited concerns over the traffic travelling to and from the windfarm site.
Senator O’Clochartaigh says residents are not necessarily against the development – but want their concerns addressed.
