Mason County Judge-Executive James L. “Buddy” Gallenstein received correspondence late Thursday that Duke Energy Renewables will discontinue the Flemingsburg wind project that was being studied for possible development in Mason and Fleming counties.
A letter from a Duke Renewables executive was sent to the Kentucky Public Service Commission, Kentucky State Board of Electric Generation, dated May 8.
