Wind turbine declined

Plans for a 77m tall wind turbine have been rejected because of concerns that it would damage the historic environment.
Cherwell District Council’s planning committee threw out the proposal for the turbine off March Road in Mollington on Thursday as it would result in “considerable harm to the Grade I-registered parkland at Farnborough Hall and Grade II-listed obelisk monument”.
