East Antrim MP Sammy Wilson has claimed that wind farms reduce nearby house prices.
“Independent surveys in England have shown that wind farms reduce house prices by eight per cent but in some areas it has been reported that 33 per cent reductions have occurred,” he said.
He said landowners who have wind farms on their property can earn up to £25,000 per year for each turbine but neighbours could find their house prices drop severely.
