Campaigners against a proposed wind farm outside Stoke Hammond were left angry and frustrated when the applicants won their fight to keep a met mast on site for another year.
Aylesbury Vale’s development management committee, granted the extension to December 2014 after hearing from officers that it would have no adverse impact on the location at Dorcas Lane.
SDLT spokesman, Joseph Creswell, said: “We did think we would see more councillors support the local communities.”
A six-day planning inquiry to decide on the wind farm scheme is set to be held in June/July.
