Sound expert weighs in on Fairhaven Wind

Sound engineer Stephen Ambrose made a strong case to the Board of Selectmen Monday for shutting down the two turbines, based on his research at similar facilities in Falmouth, Kingston and his home state of Maine. Ambrose says the findings are based on both industrial sound standards, and the level of resident complaints.

Ambrose thinks Fairhaven and other towns with turbines need to stop dragging their feet, and take action.

Fairhaven’s Board of Selectmen and Board of Health will consider shutting down the turbines during a joint meeting next Monday at 12pm.
