Turbine will spoil beauty
Credit: April 1, 2013 | www.corning-observer.com ~~
The ugliness of a wind turbine spoils the beauty of Black Butte. The park already has electrical power, making a wind turbine a tax waste. The turbine cost of $290,000 for 15 years typical life, is not paid for by President Obama’s ‘green’ initiative, but by government deficits that includes 40 cents of borrowing for every dollar spent.
Our nation is bankrupt from the $16 trillion in deficits plus about a trillion more for unfunded public employee retirement benefits, Medicaid, ObamaCare, and for those welfare subsidized with transfer payments that exceed the receiver’s lifetime taxes.
Our home PG&E electricity costs have doubled these past 20 years because lifetime savings are wasted on wind and solar projects that lack economic value.
