Supervisors approve conditional use permit for wind farm

The Antelope County Board of Supervisors today approved a conditional use permit sought by Invenergy for the construction of wind turbines associated with the Prairie Breeze Wind Energy group. Last month, OPPD announced they would purchased energy produced by the wind farm. Altogether, 120 wind turbines are to be constructed in Antelope, Boone and Madison counties.
