It is unfair to taxpayers to force them to subsidize solar or wind power on tax reduced Williamson land.
The 30 percent Federal subsidy and 10 percent California subsidy for the construction of solar or wind power generation systems, plus the 2.2 cents per kW-hr taxpayer paid subsidy for power generated, is not free.
All Federal and State subsidies come from burdening taxpayers. Every taxpayer subsidy for wind or solar power increases your cost of PG& E power delivered to your home.
Williamson land owners are already receiving a taxpayer provided subsidy in lower property taxes.
The Tehama County Board of Supervisors, should stop burdening taxpayers with uneconomic wind and solar projects that benefit only that person receiving the subsidy.
