A woman was shot in Noxen Township on Sunday night in what police say might have been a property dispute.
According to WBRE-TV, officers responded to the area where BP Energy is having wind turbines constructed near Route 29 shortly after 8 p.m.
Police said a man on an all-terrain vehicle stopped two people in a Jeep Wrangler and accused them of trespassing, then opened fire, striking the female passenger.
The woman was transported via LifeFlight to a hospital for treatment. Police did not release her name or condition.
