Two men arrested Monday at a wind protest in Lowell have had charges against them reduced.
Ira Powsner, 26, and Jacob Powsner, 21, were arrested by sheriff’s deputies when they stepped into the road and blocked trucks carrying parts for Green Mountain Power’s wind farm.
The men were initially cited for disorderly conduct, unlawful trespass and impeding a police officer. The sheriff’s department now indicates the men will only be charged with disorderly conduct.
