Connemara residents are meeting to discuss their concerns over the progression of two wind farms in the area.
Commencement notices have now been recorded by Galway County Council for a windfarm in Shannagurraun and Lettergunnet, both of which are located in the Moycullen to Spiddal area.
Local anti-windfarm campaigners met to discuss the progression of the two farms last evening and say they are disappointed with the planning process.
Campaigner Yvonne Cronin told Galway Bay fm news that the main concern is the close proximity to residential areas.
