Kankakee County: Wind farm plans stagnant

Vision Energy LLC, the Cincinatti-based energy company planning to build the K4 Wind Farm in Kankakee, Iroquois, Ford and Livingston counties, is seeking a three-year extension of a conditional use permit in Kankakee County.
Vision Energy President Turner Hunt called The Daily Journal last week and expressed concern that meetings over several months with county officials hasn’t brought action to extend the special use permits.
