Village leaders have decided not to speak out over the prospect of a giant wind turbine going up just outside their boundary.
Welsh Water has applied to Swansea Council for the 104 metre high turbine with a detached outbuilding on land at the wastewater treatment works in Fabian Way.
The council asked neighbouring authorities if they wanted to comment.
Skewen-based Coedffranc community councillors decided to make no observations.
