Power Authority cans windmill project

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – It looks like the New York Power Authority won’t be adding wind power anytime soon.
State Senator George Maziarz has said the NYPA is dropping its planned billion dollar project because windmills cost too much and might not look right along Lakes Erie and Ontario. The power authority hasn’t commented on this report yet.
