Governor, I recently drove through Chateaugay, N.Y., and was not aware that they had put up windmills. I was completely taken aback by what I was seeing! It has totally destroyed what used to be wonderful country views. I truly hope that this is totally thought through before tearing up our ridgelines as they can’t be put back when it doesn’t work out as you claim it will. I believe our money and efforts should be with solar power as that would not spoil our land. Not to mention the impact on wildlife, hunting, snowmobiling and tourism which brings revenue to our state. If you won’t allow ATVs on public land then I don’t understand why you are so willing to destroy the ridgelines! Seems to me that the one with the most money gets whatever they want.
