Three turbines at Waubra wind farm have been turned off for rain-affected maintenance, according to Acciona.
In a statement, a spokesman said the turbines were shut down to undertake works, but declined to confirm how long the turbines had been shut down for.
But nearby resident Maggie Reid said the turbines, in the Robertsons Road and Big Hill area, were stopped January 10.
In December Planning Minister Matthew Guy criticised Acciona for inadequate noise testing at Waubra.
Mr Guy requested answers to issues raised in a three-page letter within 28 days.
Meanwhile, it is understood CFA chief officer Euan Ferguson has written to regional commanders across the state requesting feedback and submissions in relation to wind turbine fires.
Mr Ferguson asked for their responses by January 30 following receipt of submissions from concerned residents in western Victoria.
