Danish Environment Minister Karen Elleman wants to set binding limits for so-called low-frequency noise generated by wind turbines to respond to the criticism of the planned wind turbine test centre in Østerild in Thy, Jyllands-Posten reported.
The new limits will, however, not only apply to turbines at the test centre but to all wind turbines in Denmark. The minister will thus work out supplementary environmental report and a new bill regarding wind turbine noise.
