Since last reporting on the NYISO interconnection queue, three more wind projects have requested to join New York’s electricity grid. These are:
* Noble Environmental Power’s 100.5 MW project, Harrigan Hill Wind in Clinton-Ellenburg (Clinton County);
* Ashford Wind Farm’s 18.9 MW project, Ashford Wind, presumably in Cattaraugus County; and
* TCI Renewables’ 57 MW project, Leicester Wind, in Livingston County
Seventy-five wind projects accounting for 8,550 MW in nameplate generation (summer) are now in the NYISO interconnection queue. The median summer generation capacity for these wind projects is 99 MW. Ten wind projects have been added to the queue in 2008. Overall, there are 162 projects of all types in the queue accounting for almost 35,000 MW in nameplate generation.
Separately, at least 22 wind projects have been withdrawn from the NYISO queue.
The April 22 NYISO queue is reported here.
