The Evans Town Board on Wednesday night scheduled public hearings on three proposed laws regulating commercial and noncommercial wind-energy conversion systems.
Among the regulations are 100-foot height limitations on windmills and restricting their location to no closer than 150 feet from a street or a property line. The hearings will be held at 7:10, 7:20 and 7:30 p. m. during a meeting of the Town Board on July 16.
