Residents all vote no to turbines
Residents have voted unanimously at a public meeting against controversial plans to put up seven wind turbines in the Shropshire countryside.
Nuon Renewables has applied for planning permission to put up the turbines, measuring 110m in height with blades 40m in length.
The application is being considered by North Shropshire District Council, with the public consultation period coming to an end on Friday and a final decision due next month.
