Dulais Valley councillors have voiced objections to a massive wind farm plan which they claim will overshadow their community.
Bosses at Acciona Energy want to put up 14 turbines on farmland to the east of Crynant and south of Seven Sisters.
At the latest village council meeting, councillor Mike Evans said: “When I first saw the plans I was appalled. One of the towers is on the edge of the ridge. We will see the full tower bearing down on the village – it is worse than I expected.”
The council agreed to hold an extraordinary meeting to discuss their response to the proposals in full.
