Members of anti-wind farm group BLOT – Belvoir Locals Oppose Turbines – handed in their objections to planners this afternoon.
Campaigners opposed to plans to build 10 turbines at Thackson’s Well, near Long Bennington, have spent months working on a dossier of objections.
The dossier includes two lever arch files of written evidence and two volumes of photographs.
Members of SKDC’s planning committee will visit the site on Wednesday and BLOT have hand delivered to each member their dossier of photographs showing the height of the proposed turbines.
Handing in the objections to South Kesteven District Council in Grantham were Frances the Dowager Duchess of Rutland, BLOT chairman Pandora Mawer, BLOY president the Hon James Ogilvy and other villagers.
