The action group formed to oppose plans to erect giant wind turbines at Reperry Cross, near Lanivet, has acquired a large helium balloon which members intend to use to demonstrate the height of the proposed turbines.
Members of BLOT (Bodmin and Lanivet Opposes Turbines) will be asking members of the public to join them at the site so that they can assess the extent of the visual impact of the turbines.
North Cornwall MP Dan Rogerson met members of BLOT on Friday evening.
A spokesman for the campaigners said: “We had a very full and interesting discussion with Mr Rogerson and we were very impressed by his knowledge of the subject.
“We expressed concerns about the lack of standardised guidance and legislation about the siting of turbines throughout the EU and he has agreed to table questions in Parliament on our behalf.”
