Wind farm proposals go on display

Plans have gone on display to the public for a wind farm in north Devon.
Ecotricity want to build four turbines on land between Stibb Cross and Bulkworthy near Bideford.
The firm says they would generate 9.2 megawatts, capable of powering about 6,770 homes. Devon has a target of 151 megawatts of renewable energy by 2010.
The firm wants to gauge public opinion with the exhibition at Torrington Library and intends to submit plans once it ends on 16 November.
