Wind turbines
They’re “planting” wind turbines
In the green fields right now
And replacing the bull, and the sheep
And the cow
And don’t you just know it
Before very long
We’ll never more hear
The dear skylark in song!
A stroll in the country
Once cherished by all
Will soon be a thing of the past
(Bless them all)
And when there’s no wind
On a calm summer’s day
Where will we get power from?
“God help us” – we’ll pray!
