The town attorney will iron out conditions to be placed on Prelude LLC’s plans for seven wind turbines. The Town Board met Monday but didn’t take action.
The planning commission gave Prelude the preliminary nod in April for five of the seven turbines he wants to put on land in Glenmore.
The commission didn’t approve two because Emerging Energies/Shirley Wind LLC of Hubertus said the proposed sites posed potential conflicts with some of the eight turbines they plan on building.
Prelude owner Tom Mattson and Emerging Energies /Shirley Wind LLC seem to have agreed to work things out between them as to who compensates whom for lost wind potential.
Mattson said Monday he has potential investors from France.
Today, the town will meet to discuss changes to the wind ordinance, which was established in December. That meeting is at 7:30 p.m. at the community center, 5718 Dickinson Road.
