The Spanish government plans to promote the re-powering of Spain’s oldest wind farms, Industry Minister Joan Clos said.
Speaking at a conference organised by Cinco Dias, Clos said the government’s target for 20,000 megawatts of installed renewables capacity up to 2010 will be boosted by an additional 2,000 MW for re-powering.
‘We will keep these 2,000 MW up our sleeve to promote re-powering,’ he said.
