Vancouver-based Columbia Energy Partners said Monday that it has sold its Arlington, Ore., wind project assets to ÂHorizon Wind Energy of Houston. Horizon is a wholly owned subsidiary of Goldman Sachs, the New York investment banking firm. Financial terms of the sale were not disclosed.
The project’s assets include leases for nearly 15,000-acres of property, five years of on-site wind data and permits for construction of electricity generating wind systems on the Bonneville Power Administration grid.
Horizon is building a wind project near La Grande, Ore., and recently sold another wind project to Puget Sound Energy.
