The Federation of Monroe County Environmentalists is sponsoring a presentation on wind turbine farms at 7:15 p.m. Monday, aiming to help citizens understand and participate in the planning process.
The meeting will be held downstairs and in the back of the First Baptist Church, 1863 Penfield Road, just east of the Four Corners.
Presenters include Bruce and Mary Ann Cady of the Rochester Birding Association and Mark Denecke of the Genesee/Finger Lakes Regional Planning Council.
The program will address environmental benefits and hazards of wind farms and include a workshop to help citizens work with government officials considering wind farm proposals.
